In 1993, Randal E. Burton became the Pastor and Founder of the Word of Life Ministry Christian Center, Inc. in Cincinnati, Ohio. A non-denominational church established by God to “Reach Souls, Change Lives, and Make Disciples". Along with his wife, Co-Pastor Billie Jean Burton, and their five children, Bishop Burton submitted to the will of God to gather the flock and shepherd them. A true step of faith!
As one of Cincinnati’s most exciting and fast-growing churches, the church has expanded over the years to include 27 active ministries. His dynamic power-packed preaching gave him the name Pastor Randal “The Revelator” Burton. The revelation of God’s word is poured onto him as he teaches and preaches by the Spirit of God. The Word of God is unfolded and revealed unto Pastor Burton to preach in such a dynamic way in order to equip believers to live victorious lives in Christ Jesus.
On September 29, 2013, Word of Life Ministry Christian Center celebrated 20 years in the ministry and Pastor Randal E. Burton Sr was confirmed in the office of Bishop and later confirmed in the office of Apostle. The confirmation was conducted by Apostles James and Gloria Smith of Greater New Hope Christian Center International Ministries of Lexington, KY.

Pastor Billie senses a strong call in her life to minister to women of all ages, ethnicities, socio-economic backgrounds, and cultures. As a wife since 1980 and a mother of five children, she understands the oppositions and adversities facing women, particularly in balancing many roles. As an advocate of, and understanding the importance of higher education, Pastor Billie obtained her B.S. in Marketing in 1993 from the University of Cincinnati while working full-time, raising five children, and launching a ministry. She returned to school and earned her Master's in Education in 2001. She Retired as an Assistant Dean with the University of Cincinnati in September 2011.
Pastor Billie is grateful and thankful to God for all He has done for her and how He has blessed her exceedingly and abundantly above measure. It is only through His grace that she is able to stand. One of her favorite passages in the Bible is II Corinthians 12:9-10, “And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities that the power of Christ may rest upon me”!
